FAQ

If your product is a single filter without cross-coupling, then you do not need any golden sample. Simply run the software and you will be guided through the tuning of untuned units. If, instead, your product is a diplexer, then you will have to tune a golden sample from scratch. Then you run the software to get tuning data from the sample and you are done. After that, you may use the software to be guided through the tuning of new untuned units.

If you only need to measure units and register performance, then you can use scalar network analysers too.
If, instead, you do need the tuning aid, then you must have a vector network analyser.

Please contact us at support@microwaid.com saying what kind of instrument (brand and model) you have and we will get back to you.
Our programmers are continuously adding new instruments to the list.

Contact our staff with your product's details and we will get back to you. See also the Service page, for further info.

Microwaid records performance for all kind of microwave components, both active components and passive components. Also the operators' performance are recorded in a database, which can be further analysed by product and process engineers.
When used as a tuning aid, Microwaid is highly efficient for single filters and diplexers. The more the units are repeatable, the more Microwaid guarantees to reach a satisfactory output.
Microwaid has been successfully used also for diplexers with isolators and/or RF loops.
